The Route
1,700 Kilometres Across Kenya
From Nairobi south across the Kapiti plains and Champagne Ridge, up the escarpment to Limuru and the Safari Simbaz, then down into the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. Past Nakuru and onto the Laikipia plateau to Nanyuki beneath Mount Kenya, before turning south-east through Embu and the remote eastern interior to the Indian Ocean at Malindi, Watamu and Kilifi, finishing in historic Mombasa.
